Early on in the game, WRENIS PINKLES jumped out to a 13-0 advantage and looked poised to take a two-possession lead into the second half

Coming off back-to-back wins to open the season, TEAM RWB matched up against WRENIS PINKLES in week two hoping to continue their strong start to the season. Instead, the WRENIS PINKLES’ defense completely dominated the game, giving them a convincing 26-12 win.

The 12-point output was the lowest for TEAM RWB this season, as the unit was never able to get into rhythm. Quarterback David Roudabush threw two interceptions on the day, and WRENIS PINKLES took advantage, scoring on each occasion.

Early on in the game, WRENIS PINKLES jumped out to a 13-0 advantage and looked poised to take a two-possession lead into the second half. Just before halftime, though, TEAM RWB struck back, cutting the lead in half as time expired to make it 13-6 at the break.

They got the ball first in the second half with an opportunity to tie things up, but Roudabush’s second interception gave the ball back to WRENIS PINKLES. The ensuing drive ended with a touchdown pass by Cory Blotzer to make it 19-6 with about 10 minutes to go.

The teams traded a pair of touchdown passes down the stretch, but TEAM RWB never got close enough to threaten WRENIS PINKLES, who walked away with a well-deserved victory.

After the off week, WRENIS PINKLES will look to climb towards the top of the standings in a doubleheader against SUPREME TEAM and SMOKE on April 8. On the other hand, TEAM RWB doesn’t play again until April 15 when they take on SUPREME TEAM, SECURE THE BAG, and VOODOO.
