Defense is where PRIMETIME really showed up last weekend.

It was a beautiful weekend for flag football.  The weather could not have been any better for PRIMETIME and VOODOO.  PRIMETIME has yet to lose this season, and proved their dominance in the league once again this past weekend.

Quarterback Jason Scott had a great game with seventeen completed passed out of nineteen.  The trio he connected with on the field were Tahir Jackson, Mike Kelley, and Kenny Ashmore.  Jackson led PRIMETIME on offense with seven receptions and two touchdowns.  Kelley also had a great offensively with five receptions and one touchdown.  Lastly, Ashmore had four receptions and two touchdowns.  With all the receptions Jackson, Kelley, and Ashmore had, there could have been many more touchdowns.

Defense is where PRIMETIME really showed up this weekend.  They had a total of sixteen tackles and one interception.  Once again, Kelley led on defense, with six tackles and one interception.  CJ Baker had four sacks, while Ashmore also had six.

For VOODOO, quarterback, Lance Brunshell had a hard time completing passes, as he went 18/30.  The only touchdowns scored in the game by VOODOO, were by Dan Barson and Austin Durham.  Shane Singer did not have any touchdowns, but had nine receptions.  Between Durham and Singer they had a combined total of sixteen receptions, which shows how strong PRIMETIME’S defense is.

On the defense side of the ball, Durham led with four tackles and one sack.  Others who contributed defensively were Dan Parke (3 tackles), Singer (1 Tackle), and Dan Barson (1 tackle).

As of now, there is no game for either team scheduled for next weekend.
