On Sunday the DONORA DRAGONS faced the BALD EAGLES in what ended up being a very close game.

On Sunday the DONORA DRAGONS faced the BALD EAGLES in what ended up being a very close game.  DONORA DRAGONS pulled off a win, but only by six points.  DONORA DRAGONS are having a rough season with a record of 3-5 and had lost three consecutive games before this past sunday.  BALD EAGLES are currently 5-4 and have been having both strengths and weaknesses during this season.

For the DONORA DRAGONS, Micah Love, led the team on offense and on defense. Love had five receptions and three touchdowns to put some points on the board.  On the defensive side of the ball, Love had five tackles and interception.  Other players that helped keep this game very close were Dyland Patch and Damond Goggins.  Patch had two tackles and one sack, while Goggins also had two tackles.

The BALD EAGLES fought hard during this game, even with the low amount of points they scored.  Quarterback, Cameron Sutherland threw for 10/18 completed passes (58.3%) and his players responded well.  Darell Clemm and TA Smith each had one touchdown a piece and three receptions. Michael Clemm led with four receptions, but did not score any points for BALD EAGLES.   The Clemm duo also did great things on defense. Darell Clemm  had five tackles and one interception, while Michael Clemm had two tackles. Smith also had one tackle and one interception.

DONORA DRAGONS are set to play WRECKING CREW and SUPREME TEAM next weekend.  DONORA DRAGONS should be able to win both games fairly easily.  BALD EAGLES do not have a game next week as it is there bye week.
