Over the weekend, VOODOO (4-2), defeated MUD DOGS(3-4) 26-7.  For VOODOO, each player on the team contributed to the team’s win in some way.  Lance Brunshell did great on the offensive side of the ball.  Brunshell had four touchdowns and completed eleven passes.  Shane Singer(3), Dan Barson(1), Austin Durham(5), Dan Park (1) and Dan Manzo (1) also all had receptions.

Other than doing great things offensively, VOODOO also did very well on defense.  Singer, Barson , and Durham all contributed one tackle a piece and Manzo had two tackles.  The only interception of the game was made by Durham. VOODOO is going very well on both sides of the ball, which is leading them to win games.

On the other hand, MUD DOGS are really struggling scoring points this season.  In previous games, they have scored 6, 13, and 0 points.  Against VOODOO, Brandon Hill scored their only touchdown and made two interceptions.  Santeaun Sims, Scott Herchelroath, Cameron Dixon and Joseph Haughey all had receptions.

Sims with three, Dixon and Haughey each had two, and leading with receptions was Herchelroath with six.  With how many receptions four players had, it makes it difficult to really understand why MUD DOGS are having such a hard time putting points on the board.  Even though VOODOO was able score 26 points, MUD DOGS defense still did a good job.  Demetrius Hayes and Herchelroath both had two tackles, while Sims had one.  Hill also led the team on defense this weekend with three interceptions.

Next weekend, MUD DOGS face PUCK U on Sunday at 10:10 am.  Players to keep an eye are: Brandon Hill and Scott Herchelroath.  VOODOO will play GOON SQUAD on Sunday at 11:30 AM.
