Speed, fast pace and scoring are the hallmarks of the Pittsburgh Flag Football League, and no one does each of these things better than Kenny Ashmore of PRIMETIME and magic man Josh Vermeulen of VAPOR.

Ashmore continues to shine brightest among Steel conference receivers, despite having played in two less games than some of his competition. Ashmore has totaled 29 receptions through four games so far this season, and has recorded a whopping 10 touchdowns in the process.

As impressive as those numbers may be, the Iron Conference has an answer of its own in Vermeulen, who, in only two games, has scored eight touchdowns on just 13 receptions, an average of a touchdown every 1.625 times he touches the ball.

Right there in the neighborhood with Vermeulen is Jayme Williams of CONQ, who has notched six touchdowns on 14 catches through four games. Williams is scoring touchdowns at a rate of one per ever 2 1/3rd reception.

Bryan Maldonado of VAPOR leads the Conference in total receptions with 28 over five games, and has scored three touchdowns. PUCKU’s Jason Bialek has accounted for four touchdowns on 27 receptions through four games.

AJ Ferguson of NVF has recorded 24 receptions in six games, including three scores, while Austin Durham of VOODOO and GOON’s Dennin Chun both have 21 receptions though five games. Chun has scored four times while Durham has three touchdown receptions.

Other impressive receivers in the Steel Conference include PRIME’s Keith Jackson, who actually has one more total reception than Ashmore through six games. But Jackson has only gotten into the end zone on four occasions.

Jordan Willis of SMTD has 22 receptions and six touchdowns through six games, but PRIME’s Mike Kelley and Brian Perry of NEON are hot on his trail with 18 receptions and five touchdowns through five games. Nick Yond of PAT has caught 19 passes in four games, but has only scored one touchdown.
