Although Holmes and Carr are currently leading the PATRIOTS, free agent, Nick Yond is one to keep an eye on

The teams in the Steel Central division are off to a rough start this season.  The WRECKING CREW is currently 0-1, SHOW ME YOUR TD'S is 2-4, and the Patriots are 0-3.  This coming Sunday, October 1, Show Me Your TD’s and the PATRIOTS will face each other at 11:10 AM.

This is predicted to be a hard fought game, as both teams are both evenly matched and have their own set of struggles.  Show Me Your TD’s is brand new the flag football scene, so they still have a lot to prove.  Gerald Okeefe of SHOW ME YOUR TD'S is currently leading the team.  So far this season, Okeefe has seven touchdowns, two interceptions, and two sacks.

Other players to watch for are: Joe Shawley, Jordan Williams, and Tanner Link.  Their main problem seems to be that they are new and still trying to figure out the game.  For the patriots they are currently in “rebuild mode” with Jeff Holmes and Mike Carr leading the way to rebuilding their team.  Holmes as of now, has one interception, one sack, and is 56.5% for completing passes.

Carr is also off to great season, standing with two touchdowns, two interceptions, and 68.2% completing passes.  Although Holmes and Carr are currently leading the Patriots, free agent, Nick Yond is one to keep an eye on. Even though Yond only has one sack so far this year, he is a breakout free agent and is great on both sides of the ball.  There is even a chance for Yond to be an all star this year.

That would be unusual because this is his rookie year.  The main reason why the PATRIOTS are struggling with putting points on the board is because they move the ball very well, but can not seem to get in the endzone.  If the patriots can not figure out a way to score touchdowns, they will be in for a very long and hard seasons ahead.  It will be interesting to see if either teams figure out how to improve their game before they play each other on Sunday.
