Beware of DRAGONZORD!!!

Overall, the rest of the season looks bright for the DRAGONS.

The DONORA DRAGONS do not have the best record in the STEEL CONFERENCE at the midway point of the season (PRIMETIME is 4-0); however, at 3-2 the DRAGONS appear to be on a collision course with PRIMETIME to meet at the conference championship game.

Led by extremely mobile QB Dylan Patch the DRAGONS are flourishing offensively. So far Patch has passed for 11 TDs and four interceptions. As a result of the signal-caller’s dual-threat playmaking ability, the DRAGONS are averaging 22 points per game.

Although most of the team’s offensive success can be attributed to the play of its quarterback, Patch owes his production to the underrated receiving corps that he has. Alan Pritchett and Micah Love are the team’s primary options for underneath routes. If defenses try to take away short passes, then Patch will expose the one-on-one advantages that they have on the outside. Demetrius Louis and Prenell Barner run go routes like DeSean Jackson.

Unfortunately, the DRAGONS are a work in progress defensively. Currently the team is giving up 20.6 points per game. In their two losses to NEON BLACK and VAPOR the DRAGS gave up a whopping 70 points!!! Part of the defense’s problem is that the DRAGONS do not have an effective pass rush. As a result, the DBs are constantly under pressure to defend against pinpoint passes from opposing QBs.

Overall, the rest of the season looks bright for the DRAGONS. Provided that they improve defensively, I believe that the DRAGS will finish the season at 6-4.
