The pressure that both Rob Albro and Dan Simbeck applied on STALLIONS quarterback Jason Orsini was the difference.

The HORSEMEN had a great start to the regular season in the fall, but then fell apart late. Quarterback Dennis “Shor-D” Wolford was adamant about how his team underachieved, and wanted to make sure it didn’t happen again.

So rather than telling his team, Wolford led by example, accounting for all three of the HORSEMEN’s touchdowns in their, 20-6, win over an undermanned STALLIONS squad, playing without all-star Tim Orsini who has a broken hand.

Wolford completed an incredible 81 percent of his passes, and threw for two touchdowns, while scoring one more time on the ground. Donald Jenkins and Giuseppe Rosselli each caught a touchdown pass in the game.

However, the pressure that both Rob Albro and Dan Simbeck applied on STALLIONS quarterback Jason Orsini was the difference. Each rusher had one sack, but was able to ruin the groove of the experience STALLIONS signal-caller.

As for the STALLIONS, Orsini was still able to complete 12 of 18 passes with a touchdown, but with Tim Orsini sidelines, the bulk of the receiving load was left on Aaron Kojundic, who caught a game-high nine passes and a touchdown.

It was certainly not the start that the STALLIONS hoped to get off to, but as long as the experience bunch can whether the storm without their all-star, it shouldn’t effect them down the line.
