It should be an exciting game to watch, as the stakes are high with each squad in desperate need of a win. Kickoff is a 6 p.m. on field four.

Looking to turn their seasons around, the RAVENS and REDSKINS will battle this Sunday at Cupples Field. The loser will drop to last place in the 13- to 15- year-old age division, while the winner will gain some much-needed momentum heading into the last week of the spring.

The RAVENS have quickly fallen down the standings after starting the year with a 31-25 double-overtime win over the BENGALS,  The team’s offense has gotten progressively worse, averaging only seven points in their last two games.

On the other hand, the group’s defense has improved, as they held Michael Sabo and the 2-1 STEELERS to only six points in their most recent contest. Still, the game ended in a 6-0 loss, as the offense couldn’t get on the board.

The REDSKINS haven’t been any better, as they sit at the bottom of the age division with an 0-2-1 record. Their season got off to a poor start in a 24-9 loss to the STEELERS, and they failed to turn things around in week two, falling to the Vikings by a score of 28-22. Last week, the team fought to a scoreless draw against the PANTHERS.

With only two weeks left in the regular season, each match is becoming more important. These teams are currently lined up to play the top seeds in the first round of the playoffs, but there is still time to climb out of the basement.
