In a night of flag football that saw teams come from Youngstown OH, Logan OH, Akron OH, snd Pittsburgh, REIGN took the crown after a 4:00am bout against BALLZ DEEP. After narrowly defeating BALLZ DEEP in their first game of the night REIGN players ultimately realized that there would be a good chance that they would meet again.

BALLZ DEEP journeyed through 6 loser bracket games to fight their way back to the championship game only to lose in a close 16 - 12 loss.

The win for REIGN comes not only from top play of the club regulars, but also from tournament long contributions from PFFL sack record holder Ryan Lancia and PFFL Ironman of the year Jason Cahill. To the credit of BALLZ DEEP much of their success developed from the implementation of a new “Wildcat-like” package that at times put Steve Chockla as a swinging WR while Eric Hantz took the role of QB.

The fight that was put forth by BALLZ DEEP was admirable, but the depth, experience and rested legs of REIGN proved to be the difference maker in the end.
