After a seven year absence the PFFL is pleased to announce the return of the Frost Bowl Tournament! On Sunday, February 26, 12 PM- 5 PM  12 teams will compete for the Frost Bowl championship.

One of the reasons why our league has continued to grow since our first season in the fall of 2009 is because our players are ultra competitive. In an effort to accommodate that competitiveness we host flag football tournaments during the offseason.

While the quest to become champions motivates the majority of our players we recognize that there are some players who are content with playing just for fun. As a result of the diverse expectations that players have when they choose to compete in tournaments we have decided to split the teams into two divisions: Competitive and Recreational.

The four teams that will be competing in the the Recreational Division are SMOKE, DIRTY MIKE AND THE BOYS, WRENIS PINCKLES, and ELITE. With all due respect to the other teams I think that SMOKE should be favored to win the Recreational Division.

As far as the Competitive Division is concerned predicting the winner is difficult. Unlike the regular season playoffs where the top teams get to warm up against “cupcake teams,” the Frost Bowl Tournament features multiple elite teams including PRIMETIME, STEELTOWN, VAPOR, and PUCK U. In other words the road to the championship is a rocky one.
