Overall, in Week 5, several teams daunted strong performances, while others dug themselves deeper holes in their divisions.

We had a shorter list of games this Sunday as the adult regular season approaches an end.  With that being said, most of the games played were extremely high-scoring and action packed with a change of scenery at Taylor Allderdice HS Athletic Complex

Highs

  • BILLY GOATZ came up with a big win over MMG.  This win, along with a win over VOODOO, improved their record to 7-1 in the Steel East right behind 7-0 STEELTOWN.
  • Despite losing to BLUNT FORCE in their first game, LETS GET PREGNANT came back with a big win vs. PATRIOTS, beating them 40-33.
  • BLUNT FORCE beat the PATRIOTS and LETS GET PREGNANT to improve their record to 8-2, helping their cause in a close race for first in the Iron East.
  • SPARTANS came up with a big win against VOODOO, beating them by a score of 42-21.

Lows

  • MMG lost a close game to BILLY GOATZ by a final score of 34-33.  However, they still sit comfortably in first place in the Steel South at 7-3.
  • The PATRIOTS lost two of their three games to BLUNT FORCE and LETS GET PREGNANT, dropping their record to 4-6 in the Steel South.
  • VOODOO lost all three of their games against PATRIOTS, SPARTANS, and BILLY GOATZ and now sit with a 1-9 record.  Not to mention they only had three players show up for the games.
