“Who knows what to expect at this point,” Walman said.

The expansion of the PFFL this season was made possible by the interest of so many rookie teams. One of these teams is ADP, which by its own admission, have never played in a flag football league before.

Quarterback Tom Walman and his guys were looking forward to a fun experience, but were unsure of what to expect before the first game.

“Who knows what to expect at this point,” Walman said. “I just don’t want to get blown out, that’s my goal. It’s our first game, we just need to get our feet wet.”

Despite Walman’s goals, the team ran into defending PFFL champion STEELTOWN in its first game and then DEFIANT in its second. The team of co-workers lost by a combined, 64-7, to the experience PFFL squads.

ADP said it planned to play a, “bend but don’t break defense,” but learned quickly what the PFFL is all about.
Although the team lost badly in its opening weekend, it still remains confident.

“We can win the whole thing,” Kris Kull said laughing.
However, the team was impressed with the way the PFFL was run, and looks forward to a great experience.

“The league is super organized,” Walman said. “We just found the league in a Google search. But we’re excited about it.”
