In a Week 2 matchup between VAPOR and PUCK U, the defending champs sent a message to PUCK U after beating them easily 32-12.

Somehow, some way VAPOR continues to find ways to beat championship-contending teams with ease. I still think that REIGN is the greatest team in league history; however, this current run that VAPOR has certainly catapulted their squad into the top three teams to ever play our game along with REIGN and PRIMETIME.

In a Week 2 matchup between VAPOR and PUCK U, the defending champs sent a message to PUCK U after beating them easily 32-12.

As usual, All-Star Quarterback Cornell Mack was on fire in the passing game. He completed 12 of 16 passes with four touchdowns and zero interceptions. Mack excelled at keeping the PUCK U’s pass rush honest with his threat to run.

VAPOR’s receiving corps fed off of Mack’s poise and patience in the pocket. Specifically, Josh Vermeulen followed up his MVP performance in the Fall 2015 Championship game with three receptions and a touchdown. Moreover, All-Stars Bryan Maldonado (five catches, one TD) and Marrio Poston (five catches, two TDs) both looked like “Comeback Player of the Year” after missing VAPOR’s championship run last season.

The defensive prowess of Williams & Williams was too much for Adam Zyski and the rest of PUCK U to overcome. Dane Wiliiams, an underrated defensive back that routinely covers the opposing team’s top deep threat was stellar with three tackles and two interceptions. Elliot Williams terrorized Zyski all game with his pass-rushing skills.

Perhaps the scariest aspect of the game’s outcome for the rest of the league is that VAPOR was dominant without all-time great DB Ed Tozzi.

Will anyone be able to upset VAPOR?
