As the Spring 2016 season gets closer to kick-off, all youth players should be in search of any activity that will help them stay in great shape. While many kids are currently participating in other sports this winter, the Heinz History Center will be hosting an NFL Play 60 Training Camp this Saturday afternoon. Details about the event are below and representatives from the PFFL will be on-site providing information to parents and players about the upcoming season.
Get off the couch and get active at the History Center with five floors of activities, including:
- A mini NFL Combine with a 40-yard dash, shuttle run, and more
- Special appearance by former Steelers lineman and current broadcaster Chris Hoke
- "Ask a Dietitian" and "Fruit and Veggie Twister" activities from Let's Move! Pittsburgh
- Healthy cooking demonstrations from local chefs
- Docent tours of the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum
- A touchdown dance contest
- Chances to win prizes throughout the day
Admission is free for all children 17 and under, courtesy of DICK's Sporting Goods. For adults, the NFL PLAY 60 event is included with regular History Center admission.
