Remember; just because you only caught one ball doesn’t mean the QB didn't see you.

Below are a couple teamwork tips for success for 4 on 4 flag football. By know means are these the gospel, nor do they guarantee success, but with out a doubt most of us could agree that these elements must exist in order to put together a winning team.

  •  Good Leadership - Anyone can be positioned as the leader of a flag football team, but above anything before you proclaim to yourself and others to be it, make sure your game is up to snuff. The quickest way to lose respect as a leader is claiming to be something that your not.
  •  Establish Roles - By this point most teams should realize that in order to have a shot at winning consistently, your team must have a good rusher. Often times an under glamorized role in the league, rushers can often determine the outcome of a game. The flip side is that the rusher may not get alot of hype in exchange for team "W's". Role playing means being unselfish and doing what it takes to work within your teams system to get a victory.
  • Conflict Resolution - Flag football has a way of bringing the good and bad out of people, but most often what can prevent your team from an "In game meltdown" is knowing when and how to address issues. Take time out during the pre-season to discuss in-game and post-game etiquette. Remember; just because you only caught one ball doesn’t mean the QB didn't see you.
