After getting off to a rocky start, MMG has won their last 3 games. The Iron West team has put on some pretty impressive offensive performances. Veteran quarterback Tony Battaglini has a strong arm. He also has the benefit of throwing to a solid offensive core. The trio of Jon Pryor, Terrence Johnson, and Trey Johnson have dominated opposing defenses. Converting momentum into points, MMG’s offense is strong and improving.

Defensively, with 53 tackles, MMG has proven to be a middle of the pack defense. Luckily, they do not have any really strong offensive teams on their upcoming schedule.

If you took this team and put them against the best teams in the league, they would quickly fall behind. They do not have the athleticism and team consistency to be a strong contender at the top of the league. As a rookie team, these guys looked strong, but they have not had much growth since then. Without the advantage of being young and new they have lost some of their spark.

This team will quickly fall to the bottom of the conference if they do not get a solid team chemistry, push themselves athletically, and start stepping up to play --and beat-- the teams that run this league. The can, and should, dominate the next few weeks of the season and will really need to prove themselves as a formidable opponent if people will ever take them seriously in the Pittsburgh Flag Football League.
