The PA PUNISHERS used its blazing speed to help coast to a, 28-7, victory over the HORSEMEN.

PA PUNISHERS receiver Mike Washington gave the HORSEMEN fits all day, catching five passes and one touchdown.

“I’ve known a lot of these guys since high school,” Washington said. “I’ve played with these guys, and I’ve played against them. Jason (Cahill) just knows I’m going to beat the defender and he’s able to get me the ball.”

Washington, a former University of Hawaii wide receiver, ran routes that one HORSEMEN player called, “Flawless.”

The PA Punishers struck on its first possession when Cahill found Washington for a touchdown, but it missed the extra point. The HORSEMEN came right back down the field and scored on Ty Gillard touchdown reception from Mario Poston.

On the PA PUNISHERS next drive, Cahill found Tite Mahone for a touchdown, to take the lead once again, 13-7.

The HORSEMEN seemed poised to come back down and score, but Poston threw a pass that Cahill was able to intercept, changing the momentum of the entire game.

Following the interception, Cahill found Zack Coleman for a touchdown as the half ended. Cahill finished the game 9 for 15, with four touchdowns, including one rushing touchdown as the game ended.

Coleman played a huge role for the defense, coming up with three sacks that kept the HORSEMEN from staying in a flow after its first drive.

But to some, it’s about more than just getting the win.

“It’s a lot of fun out there,” Washington said. “Just to go out there and get loose and go up against real competition in between my training is great.”
