This Sunday January 31st, the PFFL will play host to one of its first 4 on 4 flag football tournaments of 2010. And unlike most flag football leagues that may hold winter tournaments outside , participants in this all day marathon of 4 man flag football will be treated to the cozy confines of an indoor facility fit for some of the best athletes in the city of Pittsburgh. With registration closing last night, PFFL officials were pleased knowing that they would have the privilege of hosting a tournament that would provide a platform for over 100 players to compete.

DUST off the RUST will be no stranger to seasoned PFFL regulars such as the BULLDOGS , CHAOS and a multitude of combination teams from the regular season, but the tournament will also give a first glance at some new local talent. While the majority of the participating teams will be from Pittsburgh, some (JOE’S PROS, RAT TACTICAL, FINAL FLOOR) will travel from parts of Ohio representing such prestigious leagues as theYFFA and the USFTL. Many of the teams will come from all different disciplines of flag football (5 on 5, 9 on 9, etc.), but all will come together to have a stab at the fast paced high scoring format of the PFFL.
