On an extremely cold December Sunday morning, competitors from the newly formed PFFL took to the field in a battle not only against the elements, but also against familiar and new competition. Coming off of an impressive inaugural season in the fall of 2009, league officials were very poised to believe that many of the players would be up for the tasking challenge of competing in 20 degree weather. But as always, the faithful members of the PFFL showed up in full effect accompanied with a few new players and teams. Among the newly formed teams, was the post season marriage of various players from THE-A-TEAM and NEW TEAM. On paper many could have argued that pure athleticism alone could have taken them to the championship, but fatigue set in hard late in the day and the seasoned vets could not cut the mustard. The new look BULLDOGS lead by PFFL vets Zack Gorny and Eugene Smith put up a notable showing while examining the talents of many of their new players also.

In effort to continually grow the level of competition, the PFFL saw the entrance of three very talented and hard working teams. The WRECKING CREW, REDZONE and NEW BRIGHTON each brought different styles of play and strategy which made for increased excitement and better continuity. All and all the first annual FROST BOWL proved to be a success in all facets of competition and over all league development, and we are excited to have all of the new players back for our fast approaching season. We also send a great deal of congratulations to CHAOS in there outstanding marathon like effort in winning every game on there way to a decisive FROST BOWL victory over THEM DUDES.
