Dave has been playing football since the 7th grade, usually as a wide receiver and defensive back, but this is the first time he has played quarterback. You wouldn't know it by watching him play though. He has thrown 17 touchdown passes and he owns a 60% completion percentage. Green Machine's on-field talent hasn't translated to wins, but they seem to be coming together just in time for the playoffs.

Green Machine is a team of freshmen suite mates who have only known each other for a couple of months, but Dave likes his team's chemistry whether they are trying to overcome hangovers on the football field on Sundays, or going out the night before. Green Machine had a shot to win in almost every game, despite drawing up plays in the huddle, and a few players throwing up before games, but that's neither here nor there. Dave thinks they will be able to fix those two problems by possibly spending Saturday night game-planning instead of dominating beer pong, but he's not guaranteeing anything.

Regardless of their Saturday night plans, Dave knows his group is athletic and competitive enough to show up and play with anybody. He expects a good game from the Hammerheads in the wild card round, and isn't worried about facing some of the higher ranked teams despite being "outsized".

I fully expect the Green Machine to make a good run in the playoffs on Sunday, and even if they don't I know they will have a great time competing. There's nothing better than playing flag football with some of your new closest friends, even if you have to wake up at 8am and bang on each others doors to get everyone out of bed.
