In the upcoming weeks the PFFL staff will be surveying interest in a new league event - the Frost Bowl. Here's the general idea:

The Frost Bowl will be a 1-day, double elimination tournament, winner take-all tournament. It'll be played on Sunday, December 6 at our usual location, the Intramural Fields at Pitt. We see this as being a good way to keep the league active until the next season gets underway, and as an opportunity for league members to try new team formations and plays. It'll also be a good chance to get friends who are on the fence about joining for a full season out to see what the league's all about by playing in a few games.
The Frost Bowl will be moderately priced and as always, we'll be tracking stats, taking pictures, and giving due credit to superior performance through Offensive, Defensive and Ironman Awards. We'll be polling interest in the next couple of weeks to see if we should do this. Start talking it over with current teammates and other friends to get an idea of if you'd be into it.
