On Sunday, October 25th at 12:00pm the Pittsburgh Flag Football League (PFFL) will hold its first fall All Star Game. The game will be played at our usual location, the Intramural Fields behind Trees Hall. This Monday the PFFL selection committee will choose the top 8 players from this season to compete against 8 Pitt Panther Alum. The league's All Star Team will be comprised of players from the following positions: Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Defensive Backs and Ironmen.

The selection committee will consider several elements when choosing players for the All Star Team's roster. While outstanding statistics will be a factor, the committee will also look for consistent performance, leadership, and overall attitude. The All Star Team will take on the following former Pitt players:

* Ty Gillard: 2000 - 2004
* Kellen Campbell: 2000 - 2004
* Greg Lee: 2001 - 2004
* Austin Ransom: 2004 - 2008
* Steve Buches: 2002 - 2006
* Pete Gonzalez:1993 - 1997

Come out and watch worlds collide as former college players take on this season's flag football hotshots. Support your teammates and fellow league members and see if they have what it takes to defeat former Division 1 athletes.
