As the PFFL moves into week #4 of its inaugural season, teams are beginning to solidify and the competition has become increasingly better. Many factors have come into play leading to the very competitive field and surprisingly the “Free Agent” teams have gelled together rather well. For deeper insight into the importance of the success of the “Free Agent” teams, one must understand that 50% of the PFFL is currently free agent generated. Only the BULLDOGS (4-2), CHAOS (4-0), DA OL HEADZ (4-1), HAMMERHEADS (0-6) and GREEN MACHINE (1-4) entered this season as complete teams, meaning that the “meat” of the success right now has been generated by players that in most cases had never met prior to this season. In addition to the quick merging of “Free Agent” teams, we have to give recognition to teams like the BULLDOGS, DA OL HEADZ and CHAOS for their tireless efforts through practice and preparation for every Sunday. These teams continue to bring a methodical approach each week that is comprised of both methodical passing and lights out defense. If there is something to be learned from these 3 exceptional teams is that in the games won, they manage to keep their opponent on average under 25pts while distributing the ball well offensively.
