SAVAGES didn’t even bother to show up to the field.

GOOD

TEXAS- On Sunday, new team TEXAS took the field and shut out veteran team LIGHTS OUT. They outshined LIGHTS OUT in passing with 15 completions and a 59.5 completion rate compared to a 32 completion rate. They also had 3 defensive interceptions which helped them seal the 14-0 win their first week in the league.

WOLVERINES – After a year hiatus from the league, WOLVERINES are back and playing in the Iron East. They are a young team with a lot of athleticism, but only managed one win in their first week back. Falling to BLUNT FORCE in a 27-19 game and SMOKE in a 19-6 loss, they need to avoid throwing interceptions and build a solid defense if they want to be a major contender this season.

SEAN KENNEDY AT QUARTERBACK- Familiar PFFL face, SEAN KENNEDY, is throwing the ball for HAVOC this season. Considering he isn’t a full-time quarterback, he put on quite a show at George Cupples Stadium on Sunday. With a 57.7 completion rate, he is sitting higher than some seasoned quarterbacks.

BAD

PUCK U- They put up a solid fight against the league’s defending champions WRECKING CREW and won their second game. They are definitely a top team in the league but if they want to be the best, they’re going to need to prove they can beat the best.

COREY BLOTZER- He was sacked 6 times. Enough said.

UGLY

SAVAGES- The first week of the season is a fun and energetic atmosphere that you don’t see again until the post season. SAVAGES didn’t even bother to show up to the field. The league pushed all their games to week 2 rather them to start the season with forfeits, but the other teams now know they can just take the SAVAGES to the bar the night before and they won’t be able to make it out of bed to show up for their games.
