Unsurprisingly the BUCCANEERS rang up big numbers against the RAVENS in a 33-0 rout.

Covering teams coached by the legendary Dennis “Shor D” Wolford is becoming increasingly predicable. While I would like to have as much optimism that opposing teams will pose a serious threat to the championship mantle that Shor D has built as the parents of our young athletes, my name is Abraham Lincoln and I CANNOT TELL A LIE! As a Youth League coach Shor D is a class by himself.

Unsurprisingly the BUCCANEERS rang up big numbers against the RAVENS in a 33-0 rout. Quarterback Michael Sabo displayed an improved command of Shor D’s offensive game plan. As a result, Sabo passed for several touchdowns.

From a skill position perspective the BUCS’ roster is jam-packed with some of the league’s most prolific players. Youth League Champions Benjamin “Benny the Jet” Haslerig, Martin Staresinic, and John May have over 25 seasons of experience collectively. Both young men are blessed with quick feet and great instincts.

On defense TaMaya “Cruise Control” Wolford brings ruthless defensive back skills to the BUCS. On the play of the game, Cruise Control tiptoed underneath a pass intended for a RAVEN that appeared to be wide open. Then after the pass was thrown Wolford snatched the ball in midair, juked several RAVENS out of their cleats and CRUISED into the end zone as if she were pulling up to a drive-thru window.

So the question remains: CAN ANY TEAM BEAT THE BUCS?
