PUCK U has maintained a pretty consistent offense, but quarterback Adam Zyski will need to be extremely cautious

Coming off a league-wide bye week, the Iron West’s PUCK U will meet the Steel North’s DEATH ROW. Both teams bring strong athletes into the matchup.

For PUCK U this will be an incredibly important matchup. Sitting 2-2 on the season, they need to start their forward momentum with a win this game if they want to be a serious post season contender. DEATH ROW is already riding their winning streak, with only 1 loss on the season and straight wins the past 4 games.

PUCK U has maintained a pretty consistent offense, but quarterback Adam Zyski will need to be extremely cautious passing against the DEATH ROW defense. With 7 interceptions so far this season, they are likely to snag at least one pick,; a move that could easily ruin PUCK U’s day in a close matchup. PUCK U has only scored 1 rushing touchdown this season, but will likely need to keep the ball on the ground more than usual.

Jordan Fowler, quarterback of DEATH ROW, has 3 go to guys; Dave Bassi, Rick Douglas, and LaRoi Johnson. That offensive diversity will keep the PUCK U defense on their toes and make man to man coverage crucial to keeping the DEATH ROW scoring manageable.

With 4 games this weekend, DEATH ROW will need to find a balance between conserving energy and recording wins. PUCK U has three games slated for Sunday but need to play all three at full capacity to make any real waves this season.
