IRON WEST

ALLIANCE = A

ALLI has emerged as a team to be reckoned with in the first half of the season. Their defense has been incredibly strong, landing them with only two losses to date. Shawn “Captain America” McCallum leads the conference with 8 defensive sacks and Skylar “Superman” Jaquay leads with 6 interceptions, 2 for touchdowns.

PUCK U = B

This veteran team is sitting at a 2-2 record. They haven’t had a real shot to pull ahead in the conference, but without a solid second half of the season they could easily fall to a C team. Their individual players need to step up and start showing up at the top of the leader boards for this team to finish strong after their questionable start.

DARKWINGS =  C

Mike Coleman is struggling to control him arm. With 10 thrown interceptions, he just is not giving his offense a fair chance to score. They are holding on with 3 wins, but this team could easily go south quickly.

MULTIPLE SCOREGASMS = D

Managing to win only 1 of their first 6 matchups, MULTIPLE SCOREGASMS is sitting at the bottom of the Iron Conference. Individually, the players are not making any waves on the leaderboards and as a team they have clearly lost far more games than they have won. They would need to do a total 180 in order to even climb to an average team this season.

IRON CENTRAL

VAPOR = A

VAPOR has repeatedly proven themselves as a strong PFFL team. With a 5-1 record, they are sitting at the top of the conference along with PRIMETIME. The PRIMETIME players are just beating the VAPOR guys in most stat categories. VAPOR did walk away with the head to head win against PRIMETIME, giving them a strong ground to stand on. If they were anyone else, we’d be highly impressed. But they are VAPOR, and we expect to see them dominating.

SAVAGE = C

Barely hanging on with a 2-3 record, I wouldn’t totally give up on this new team, but they have only a week or two more to start proving themselves in the conference. Looking ahead, they have a very winnable schedule through the end of October and have a great opportunity to rise in the rankings and finish with a solid season.

DICE MISFITS = D

Still waiting for their first win of the season, DICE MISFITS are currently at the very bottom of the league. Among other disasters, John Tyler Butler’s 50% completion rate and 14 thrown interceptions are killing this team. Their defense has yet to allow less than 27 points. When your opponents are scoring in the 40s and your quarterback is only finding a target (on his own team) half the time, there isn’t much hope for your season.

IRON EAST

PRIMETIME = A

PRIMETIME has definitely emerged as the Iron Conference leader so far this season. Their players are all over the leaderboards; Kenny Ashmore 38 receptions, Jason Scott 81% completion rate, Tahir Jackson 28 receptions, Kenny Ashmore 18 receiving touchdowns. Falling to VAPOR proved they aren’t invincible, but they are pretty darn close.

SPARTANS = B

The SPARTANS are quietly sitting on the second tier. With 4 solid wins and only 2 losses, they are looking pretty solid heading into the second half of the fall season. With VAPOR and PRIMETIME on their upcoming schedules, this team needs to pull out their best game. If they can beat those teams and finish the season strong, they will earn a name for themselves in the league.

BLACK KNIGHTS = B

The BLACK KNIGHTS have a losing season thus far, but a few key players that are keeping them just above water. Zack Bahr has thrown 13 passing touchdowns, which is no small feat. They can still win out the season and finish even, or they could suffer another loss and end up in the bottom half of the conference.
