GIANTS Remain Undefeated After Win Against 49ERS

Head coach Jason Russell led the GIANTS to their fourth win of the season in a rare night game at George Couples Stadium. The Saturday matchup between the 49ers and the GIANTS ended in a 20-0 stalemate, further widening the gap between the GIANTS and the rest of the 7-9 year old division.

The 49ers offense was unable to score in their second loss of the Fall PFFL season. Travis Muti, head coach of the 49ers, struggled to gain enough offensive momentum to convert a drive into points. Even with the inherent teamwork that comes with having two sets of brothers – the Allen brothers and the Betz brothers – on a team, they were simply unable to rally against the division leader.

These two teams will not meet again in the regular season, and the 49ers will have to come up with some solid wins in the next few weeks if they want a shot at meeting the GIANTS in the championship game. The GIANTS have a pretty smooth schedule moving forward, facing 2 winless teams in the next 2 weeks of play.
