The Lower Division is the Rodney Dangerfield of the Youth League because it gets no respect. Often times the media shies away from covering games for the 7-9-year-olds because of the preconceived notion that the matchups won’t be as entertaining. After much discussion, the league has decided that the youngsters deserve some more love from the media.

Ladies and gentlemen I give your game of the week: GIANTS vs. BRONCOS.

HOW BOUT DEM BRONCOS?

The young horses are on a roll right now offensively. Their impressive 13-6 victory over the NINERS in Week 1 was reflective of the kind of offensive output that fans should expect whenever they watch a BRONCOS game. While the team’s win is a product of a collective effort to play fundamentally sound football, the leadership of the BRONCOS rests in the sure hands of star Wide Receiver Remmie Greenwald. Greenwald nicknamed “Remedy” for her uncanny ability to cure bad passes and make highlight reel receptions, caught the game-winner under the bright lights of Saturday Night Football.

On the other sideline the GIANTS have the advantage of playing for superstar Coach Jason Russell. Whether it’s the BILLS or the CARDINALS, Coach Russ excels at putting his players in a position to be successful. His go-to-guy is Luca Michnowicz AKA “Sick Speed.” Time after time Russell will put the ball in Sick Speed’s hands to lead his team to victory. In addition to Michnowicz, Russell employs the talents of his other playmakers including Jalen Patterson Bey and Gideon Rockwood.

Ultimately, this game will be won on defense. Whoever plays more disciplined defense will end up with the W.
