PRIMETIME, the two-time defending champs, are the class of the league.

Whenever PRIMETIME and VAPOR play against each other, the whole league notices. Given that these two squads have split winning the championship trophy in each of the last six seasons, there’s good reason for spectators and fellow players to pay attention.

PRIMETIME, the two-time defending champs, are the class of the league. Consistently, this team triumphs over opponents while dressing just four players. All-Star Quarterback Jason Scott is the engine that drives the offensive vehicle for the boys in blue. His chemistry with fellow All-Stars Kenny Ashmore and Tahir “TJ” Jackson is uncanny. Speaking of the receiving corps, Ashmore recently set a franchise record after he caught six touchdown passes against the BLACK KNIGHTS. In the words of Kanye West, “NO ONE MAN SHOULD HAVE ALL THAT POWER!”

Additionally, TJ is a flat out speed demon that uses his quickness and agility to breeze pass defenders on double-move routes. Perhaps the scariest revelation about PRIMETIME’s high-octane offense is that they’re putting up huge numbers without their other top deep threat All-Star WR Bruce Thornton. When Thornton finally joins the team, PRIMETIME will become an unstoppable matchup nightmare for opposing DBs.

While PRIMETIME’s championship status is enough to for fans to surmise that the champs will rise again, VAPOR poses the most lethal threat to PT completing their dynasty. First things first, All-Star QB Cornell Mack is not only the fulcrum of his team’s success he is arguably the league’s best two-way player. Although he is no longer throwing to the freakishly talented Darius Prince, Mack continues to flourish at QB because of his accuracy, decision-making, and quick feet.

As far as his weapons are concerned, Mack has an array of talented skill position athletes on his team. First, All-Star WR Bryan Maldonado is a top 10 possession receiver because his hands make him the PFFL’s version of Hall-of-Fame WR Cris Carter. In addition Aaron “AB” Brown and Shane Porter are reliable targets that are great at securing jump ball throws.

Defensively, Mack and All-Star Defensive Back Ed Tozzi set the tone for VAPOR. Since 2010 Tozzi has maintained the single-season record for interceptions with 16. His ball-hawking skills and soft hands make him a threat to grab picks on defense or snag receptions on offense.

The last time these teams met PRIMETIME dominated VAPOR in a 33-18 regular season win. Thornton completed 11 of 15 passes for two TDs and one pick. While Mack did register a QB rating of 118.3, VAPOR’s defense did was unable to stop PRIMETIME’s speedy receivers.

Make no mistake, whoever wins this game will most likely win the FALL 2014 CHAMPIONSHIP!
