All-Star Quarterback Jordan Fowler was sensational completing 15 out 18 passes

While WHITE OUT and VAPOR are currently tied for the league’s best record, CONQUEST has quietly had the best season so far. In their matchup against SMOKE, CONQUEST was offensively resilient in a 19-13 victory.

All-Star Quarterback Jordan Fowler was sensational completing 15 out 18 passes for three touchdowns and just one interception. Those numbers resulted in an impressive 95.6 QB rating. The main reason why Fowler was so accurate is the reliable hands of All-Star wide receiver LaRoi “Franchise” Johnson. The big man caught a game-high nine receptions and two touchdowns.
In addition to Johnson, All-Star Rusher Elliot Williams contributed greatly on both sides of the ball. Offensively, Williams complimented Johnson’s big game with five receptions and a touchdown. On the defensive side, Williams collected three big sacks on SMOKE QB Fred Warrell.

Speaking of Warrell, the signal-caller played a good game but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with CONQUEST’s offense. He completed 11 of 13 passes for two TDs and one pick. Outside of Darnell Barnes (three catches, two touchdowns) no other receiver was able to get into the end zone.

Consistently beating teams while fielding just five players shows how mentally tough CONQUEST is. Fowler’s ability as a dual-threat passer gives the team more options to extend drives and pick up first downs. As long as Fowler has Franchise as a receiver and Williams as a rusher the sky is the limit for this team.
