The PACKERS saved their best game for the CARDINALS as they beat the birds 36-7. Skylar “Lady of Steel” Kunkel was masterful as the primary signal-caller for the PACK. She threw one touchdown and rushed for another.

Prior to their game against the CARDS, the PACKERS had been struggling all season to record a victory. Rookie coach Frank Kunkel went through some growing pains trying to get the most out of his players; however, in this game the team seemed to finally grasp the offensive and defensive concepts that he has been teaching them.

Veteran player Braxton Allen explained that the large margin of victory in this matchup should be attributed to the PACKERS’ stellar performance on both sides of the ball.

“I was all a matter of defense and offense,” he said.

For several seasons the Lady of Steel has been one of the game’s most underrated two-way players. In particular, her command of the PACK’s offensive scheme as well as her elite flag-pulling skill is second to none.

“She means a lot to us because if we didn’t have her today we probably would’ve lost,” Allen said about Kunkel. “She has a great arm.”

Standout Defensive Back Thomas Hayden picked off the CARDINALS quarterbacks twice. As one of the tallest players in the Middle Division (10-12-years old), the young man brings a combination of size and instincts to the PACKERS’ defensive scheme.

“I think that each time we’ve been playing we’ve been getting better and better,” Hayden said.

Hopefully the PACKERS will look more like the team that won big against the CARDS instead of the team that went 0-4 during the first four weeks of the season.
