These teams played their way to the Pittsburgh Flag Footbal League Spring Season championship game through sheer force of will. Both were pretty evenly matched with some of the league's elite talent and it was all on display.

CHAOS opened the game and drove down the field using a deep drop and go offense gameplan. They thought they opened the scoring, but ended up turning the ball over on downs when a short corner route to the end zone was ruled a no-catch by Sean Kennedy. That didn't stop them from sticking to their gameplan and matching every one of PRIMETIME's splash plays throughout the rest of the conest.

PRIMETIME countered in the first few minutes with a similar offense plan to CHAOS, deep quarterback dops and spreading the field. They initially marched right through CHAOS' defense. PRIMETIME'S Jason Scott connected with Kenny Ashmore for a touchdown that he pulled down even though he was covered like a blanket.

Throughout the game, the players you would expect to step up continued to drive their respective squads: CHAOS' Lance Brunsell spread the ball down the field between WRs Sean Kennedy and Darius Prince. PRIMETIME'S Jason Scott looked to get the ball to Kenny Ashmore and Bruce Thornton as much as possible.

The teams went into the final minute with PRIMETIME up 13-12. While CHAOS was driving for what could be the final score, Sean Kennedy snapped the ball and broke up field. This is when the unique rules that have to govern a flag football league came into play. Kennedy's flag dropped to the field before the play and resulted in a discussion with the officiating crew. Once the play was nullified, PRIMETIME was awarded the championship with CHAOS sitting just outside their end zone.

This was an end to another intense, competitive season for PFFL. The league and the highlight reel talent it showcases deserves to be on display for the rest of the city.
