In this battle of the orange, PRIMETIME missed an extra point during the first half, that would ultimately end their impressive fall 2013 season. Quarterback Jason Scott was honored with both the Defensive Player of the Year and Iron Man, but only completed 11 passes and threw one touchdown this game.

CHARLIE’S FREAKING ANGLES won this one on their way to the championship game, but didn’t dominate and run up their score like they did in many other games. Prince only threw for 1 touchdown in his 20 attempts. They may have widened the gap more if they were not hit with a 10 yard penalty and turned the ball over on downs during a critical drive.

Both teams racked up receptions, 12 for CHARLIE’S FREAKING ANGLES and 11 for PRIMETIME, but neither team were able to beat the defenses and convert their momentum into points. The defenses both showed up and played physical games. With 17 tackles between the two teams, and Chris Kropf snagging an interception, the defense kept the score low on both sidelines. For PRIMETIME Tahir Jackson was hustling on defense and broke up several key plays for CHARLIE’s FREAKING ANGLES.

CHARLIE’S FREAKING ANGLES moved on to face WRECKING CREW in the conference championship.
