1 Point Can Make All the Difference

PRIMETIME had an incredible season. After a phenomenal season with strong wins against good PFFL teams, including three shutouts, they fell in the final game of the regular season to CHAOS. Finishing just one point behind CHAOS made the loss even more heartbreaking.

Quarterback Jason Scott finished the season with 37 touchdown passes and 3 rushing scores.  He commanded the offense throughout the season, and began really cutting down on plays per drive by the end of the season. Scott is no slouch on defense, recording a stellar 10 interceptions and ran 3 of them back for touchdowns.

All-Star Kenny Ashmore snagged 59 receptions and an impressive 24 touchdowns in 10 games. He also put up some good numbers on defense, with 26 tackles and an interception. Ashmore’s athleticism and knack for the game are apparent. In week 5, Scott threw a long bomb, and looking into the sun yelling “I can’t see” Ashmore pulled it out of the air like a pro.

With every member of this roster contributing to the success of the team, they showed up this season ready to prove themselves in the league, and they did just that. Although they don’t always get the respect they deserve from other players, PRIMETIME has earned their spot in this season’s post season bracket. Falling one point shy of clinching an undefeated season is a heartbreaker for this team, but they worked hard and played well all season.
