CONGRATULATIONS DOLPHINS!!!

When the DOLPHINS needed a big play to lift their squad over the REDSKINS, Clay “Play-Doh” Everett delivered in the form of a 24-18 victory in the lower division championship game.  The nickname PlayDoh comes from Everett’s ability to create a play out of virtually nothing. In this matchup, Play-Doh juked a couple of defenders and accelerated down the sideline to score the game-winning touchdown.

“I was just looking for holes…and then I just ran down the field,” Everett said.

In addition to his late game heroics, Everett also scored another rushing touchdown in the first half.

Aside from Play-Doh’s MVP-caliber performance, two-time Youth League Champion Martin Staresinic used his instincts to put points on the board for the FINS. In particular, the young player showed his creative side on his second TD. Trailing 18-12 late in the game, Staresinic received a handoff and prepared to throw the tying score. Instead, the seasoned veteran ducked underneath a REDSKINS’ rusher and sprinted to the end zone.

Although the SKINS came up short at the big dance, they should be very proud of the way they competed from beginning to end. Specifically, Finn Deringor rushed for a touchdown and caught an interception.

At the end of the day only one team can win; however the FINS and SKINS should be commended for delivering a Game 7-like performance for their friends and family.

CONGRATULATIONS DOLPHINS!!!
