“This kid was right in front of me and I just had to go through him,” Kozar explained.

In a playoff-like atmosphere between two talented youth teams, DOLPHINS’ Running Back Braxton Allen turned in one of the best individual performances in regular season history to carry the FINS to an 18-7 victory over the TITANS. Allen ran for two touchdowns and rushed for another.

Throughout the contest Allen made highlight plays on both sides of the ball. Defensively, the young man psyched out TITANS’ Quarterback Jake Fuller and caught an interception.

Although Braxton was the biggest star in this game, he received plenty of help from his teammates. DOLPHINS’ Rusher Matthew Barone Jr. collected a huge sack on Fuller during the closing moments of the game. Additionally, Youth League Champion Martin Staresinic put the exclamation on the win after he picked off Fuller for a game-ending interception.

Unfortunately for the TITANS they had trouble defending against Coach Travis Muti’s rushing offense. Defensive Back John Kozar attributed his team’s poor defensive performance to the DOLPHINS’ inconsistency with pulling flags.

“We couldn’t pull flags,” he said plainly.

While his team struggled to score points, John provided the lone offensive highlight for the FINS. Late in the first half, Kozar slipped couple of defenders and scampered down the sideline for a TD.

“This kid was right in front of me and I just had to go through him,” Kozar explained.

Lastly, Isaiah Brown had a pair of nice tackles in the second half to help kill a DOLPHINS’ drive.
