One of the biggest storylines of this game was the poise shown by third-year PATS’ Quarterback Evan “Tom Brady” DeWitt.

Without question the bad blood between the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers makes them one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL today. Both fan bases hate each other as much as humanly possible. Speaking of these two teams, the PATRIOTS laid the smackdown on the STEELERS to the tune of a 25-8 victory.

One of the biggest storylines of this game was the poise shown by third-year PATS’ Quarterback Evan “Tom Brady” DeWitt. Since his first season with the PFFL DeWitt has gotten better each season. For example, Tom Brady threw for three touchdowns and intercepted a pass from STEELERS’ Quarterback Isaac Staresinic.

In addition to Tom Brady’s leadership and big plays, the PATRIOTS benefitted from the improved play of another NFL Youth veteran by the name of Benjamin Haselrig. His nickname is “No Hassle” because he makes plays with minimal difficulty. In particular, Haselrig caught an extra point and took two handoffs from DeWitt the distance to score twice more. By the way John May, one of the few players with championship experience, scored on an exhilarating run in which he juked several STEELERS out of their

cleats.

Unfortunately for the STEELERS, Isaac Staresinic struggled to run the offense. On one play in particular the young signal-caller telegraphed a pass to Skylar Kunkel and was promptly intercepted by May.

Speaking of Kunkel, this young lady came alive in her debut with the league. Without exaggeration I can confirm that she made every tackle in her vicinity and returned an interception of a PATRIOTS’ extra point attempt for two STEELERS’ points. I’d pay close attention to the “Lady of Steel” this season because she will continue to make her presence known.
