The National Football League launched NFL PLAY 60 as a movement to get kids to get out and get active for at least 60 minutes every day to help fight childhood obesity. Kids and parents are encouraged to get involved through school programs, contests and community events. The PFFL Youth League is a great way to get Pittsburgh kids active while having fun.

But NFL Fuel Up to Play 60 goes even further to promote healthy lifestyles for kids. Eating smart is a large part of their campaign to tackle childhood obesity. Kids can log on and track their eating habits and daily activity while getting tips about healthy living. Setting goals to eat healthy, get active and make a difference is also part of NFL Fuel Up to Play 60.

NFLRush.com/Play60 allows you and your kids to make a game plan, track healthy habits, and earn rewards. You can take the pledge and also find challenges for your kids and their friends to participate in for a change to win great prizes like a visit from an NFL player. The program teaches leadership and gives students the opportunity to apply to be Student Ambassadors and travel to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Student Ambassador Summit.

NFL Flag Football leagues around the country, like the PFFL, lets kids play non-contact flag football while learning good sportsmanship, teamwork, and football skills. The PFFL gives local youth the chance to make friends and get active.
