Kids get the opportunity to build friendships while learning how to play on a team.

There are over 1,000 leagues across the country that give young boys and girls a chance to play in an organized league. Kids get the opportunity to build friendships while learning how to play on a team. The non-contact sport of flag football is a great way to introduce kids to youth sports.

NFL flag is part of the National Football League’s youth health and fitness campaign. The PFFL youth league gets kids active and everyone gets a chance to see the game action. Players are exposed to interaction with a coach and teammates which helps build skills for playing on other youth sports teams.

Flag football sharpens athletic skills in kids while teaching kids how to follow rules. The PFFL introduces kids to athletic competition in a family friendly environment that is ideal for young, first time athletes. The administrators of the league maintain a hands on management style that allows parents and players a chance to shape and understand the organization of youth sports leagues.

Smaller team sizes allow young athletes to build relationships with coaches and referees while giving every player the chance to contribute the success of their team. The 4 on 4 games keep kids engaged and don’t leave anyone sitting on the bench.

How has the PFFL been a good introduction to sports for your child?
