Since Evan “Tom Brady” De Witt’s departure from the PATRIOTS, the young quarterback has been humbled by his role on the RAIDERS as backup to Jonathan “Michael Vick” Wellen. However, Brady filled in nicely for Wellen to lead the black and silver to a crushing 46-25 victory over the PATRIOTS.

On the day, De Witt torched the PATS’ defense for five touchdown throws. In addition, the young man caught an interception to set up a RAIDER score. With each completion the young man gained more confidence.

“I think it felt great to be back playing quarterback again,” he said. “I mean I was a little nervous at first but then I got back into it.”

Once again the RAIDERS offense benefitted from the strong play of their wide receivers. First, De Witt connected with Jo Jo “Tupperware” Butler for two scores. Also, the QB located Jeremy “Kevin Durant” Sowell and Teshir Alston for touchdown receptions.

“Most of the time Jo Jo was open,” De Witt responded when asked about his seamless chemistry with his receivers.

Although the PATS suffered a tough loss, there were some bright spots in the game. For example, William Lipscomb was impressive with his three touchdown runs. Jajuan Cook also put in major work for the PATRIOTS with his TD and running ability.

Now even though De Witt was all smiles after his successful debut as the RAIDERS starting quarterback, he wasn’t shy about his aspirations to remain the long-term starter.

“I hope I can play quarterback for the rest of the time,” he said.
