Robert Wilson made the play of the game

In a classic defensive struggle between the PATRIOTS and the STEELERS, Robert Wilson made the play of the game to propel the PATS to a 6-2 victory over the black and yellow squad.

Primarily, both teams struggled to score points because of the great defensive game plans of their coaches. Early in the game Hayden Brook intercepted an underthrown pass from STEELERS’ Quarterback Louie Cipolla.

While Cipolla was understandably upset about committing a turnover, the QB redeemed himself by intercepting a pass from the PATRIOTS’ emergency Quarterback Milan Lauscher. Cipolla’s pick stopped the offensive momentum that the PATS were building.

Finally, Wilson decided to take matters into his own hands to help his team. On a designed play, Wilson turned a reverse handoff into a touchdown to give the PATRIOTS just enough points to win the game.

Although Wilson was happy that he was able to score, the young playmaker admitted that his team’s defense won the game. Also, Wilson explained that the PATS formerly known as the COWBOYS, were responding better to the coaching techniques of PFFL All-Star and Coach Andy Krawchyk this season.

At 2-2 the PATRIOTS have demonstrated that they are capable of great things this season. One positive for the PATS is that they won without starting Quarterback Evan “Tom Brady” De Witt. Lausher did a nice job of filling in for De Witt.

As for the STEELERS, they can take solace in the fact that Cipolla was able to get a safety-sack to put two points on the board for his teammates.
