One of the reasons why this matchup was so competitive was because both teams were so evenly matched. The RAVENS brought an array of talented skill position players to the table including Zy, TaMaya “Cruise Control” Wolford, and Anthony Orlando. On the STEELERS’ side, Gonot, Nikyla “Nikki” Wolford, and Jehlani Alston.

Despite all of the offensive talent, both teams were stifled for most of the game. In particular, Cruise Control struggled to make big plays while being covered by her sister Nikki. The lone highlight for Maya was when she caught a pass from Zy after Gonot tipped it in the air.

All season the STEELERS have triumphed over their opponents with relative ease. Led by talented playmaker Grant Gonot, this season’s best team gutted out a 7-0 victory over the RAVENS to capture the SUMMER 2015 championship!

In a game that featured the league’s top two defensive teams, neither offense was able to get on track. One of the key contributors to the STEELERS’ defense was Defensive Back Milo Berger. After missing several weeks due to prior engagements, Berger returned to the STEELERS just in time for the big dance. On a crucial third down play in the first half, Berger sacked RAVENS’ Quarterback Zymerre “Zy” Bibb.

The game for all intents and purposes was over after Gonot took a handoff the distance and scored a rushing TD late in the second half.

CONGRATULATIONS STEELERS!
