It has been almost two years since the PFFL has hosted a tournament, but league officials have decided to resurrect the Southpointe Showdown. As in years past, this tournament will be a "late night" affair with the coin toss not beginning until 11:00pm. Southpointe Field house this Saturday will serve as the site for this tournament and team space is limited.
Unlike in a typical single or double elimination tournament, Saturday nights event will guarantee that each team plays a minimum of 3 "pool games" with the top 4 teams advancing to the semi-final round after. This tournament is open to all veteran and new teams looking shake the rust off before the spring season gets underway.
